What is IBRG?

Indiana Business for Responsive Government (IBRG) is the Indiana Chamber's nonpartisan political action committee. IBRG is the business community's most sophisticated and comprehensive political action committee for electing pro-business legislators to the Indiana General Assembly.

IBRG's Mission Statement

To aid in the election of candidates to the Indiana General Assembly whose legislative voting records and/or positions on business- related legislation will enhance the Indiana General Assembly's commitment to a favorable business climate.

20 Years of Political Involvement

For the past two decades the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s political action arm, Indiana Business for Responsive Government (IBRG), has been a key player in the Indiana political environment. Since 1990, IBRG has endorsed over 800 candidates for the Indiana House and Senate. With an overall success rate of 85%, the 2010 election cycle was the most successful yet with nearly 91% of endorsed candidates winning election. Click here for more.

Investing in Pro-Business Political Action

IBRG assigns all of the contributors a level of status. We recognize the eagle contributors at large Indiana Chamber events, and through the Annual Member Report. The status ranges from a Gladiator Member to a Platinum Eagle. Our contributors fully fund Indiana Business for Responsive Government and all its efforts. Without the contributions IBRG would not be the effective political action committee it is today. With your help we can continue to be a strong influence by electing pro-business legislators.
