Michael Davis
VP of Political Affairs and PAC Indiana Chamber of Commerce
Michael oversees the Political Affairs department and runs IBRG, the largest pro-business PAC in Indiana and one of the largest state or local Chamber PACs in the United States. His time is spent working with candidates, conducting research, analyzing data, and managing the department. He is also responsible for the Indiana Chamber’s grassroots advocacy program and the Chamber’s Federal PAC, Indiana Chamber Congressional Action Committee (ICCAC).
Michael was recently named to the Howey Political Report’s Most Influential People in Hoosier Politics list. He is a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce’s Public Affairs Committee, which is responsible for making Congressional endorsements. Michael is also a leading member of USA Roundtable, an association of the leading pro-business PACs around the country and has served as a faculty member at the Innovate to Motivate’s National Conference for Political Involvement Professionals.
Prior to joining the Chamber in 1997, Michael managed several legislative races, worked in the Indiana State Senate, in the Auditor of State’s Office, and interned for the Association of Indiana Counties. In 1996, Michael ran Representative Tom Saunders successful campaign, beating an incumbent.
Michael, a native of New Castle, graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Political Science and Economics. In 2004, he graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organizational Management, held at the University of Notre Dame.

Mindy Colbert
Director, Political Fundraising
Indiana Chamber of Commerce
Mindy’s primary responsibility is to raise funds for the Indiana Business for Responsive Government Political Action Committee. Her efforts enable IBRG to be as influential in Indiana state legislative races as possible. She also leads the efforts to raise funds for Indiana Chamber Congressional Action Committee and Business Impact Fund.
Prior to joining the Chamber in 2005, Colbert worked in the Indiana State Senate and was the founding treasurer of a state Political Action Committee that now has a nationwide organization.
Mindy, is a Tipton County native, and graduated from DePauw University with a bachelor degree in English Writing. She is a 2005 graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum (ILF) and now serves as a member of the ILF Board of Directors.

Chase Downham
Manager, Political Affairs
Indiana Chamber of Commerce
Chase serves as IBRG’s primary field representative in directly managing campaigns of IBRG endorsed candidates for the Indiana General Assembly. He also is tasked with researching all 150 state legislative districts, candidates and demographics.
Prior to joining the Chamber in February of 2007, Chase worked on two congressional campaigns in Colorado. In addition, Chase has worked for Indiana Congressman Mike Pence in both the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. office and campaign office.
Chase, a native of Muncie, graduated with “high distinction” from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) earning a BSPA with a concentration in policy analysis. Chase is a graduate of Indiana University’s Washington Leadership Program and was SPEA’s nominee for the 2006 Herman B. Wells Award.

Elizabeth Kallas
Political Affairs Assistant Indiana Chamber of Commerce
Elizabeth supports the IBRG team, as well as the VP of HR, Labor Relations and Civil Justice. Prior to joining the Chamber, Elizabeth worked with the Daniels Administration as Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Labor. Elizabeth is also a freelance make-up artist. She is a native of Indiana and currently lives in Fishers with her husband and son.
